Last nite Flaspar played as a two piece (Rebecca+Cody) at PNCA in Portland,OR.
Carlyn did aroma-therapy, and it was so perfect. She mixed a couple scents, and put them on cotton balls all around the room. By the end of the night all the cotton balls had been taken. People must've really liked them.
It was a lot of fun. We played w/ 4 tape decks, all using new age tapes, for one part and home made collage tapes for another. We also used 2 sets of intercoms, a microphone, three bells, 2 voice changers, and 2 laser gun sound effect devices. The idea was to trance everyone out, and I think it did the job. It was a success!!
Hope to play more shows like this soon.
Two weeks from now Cody will be playing some shows w/ Smegma in Los Angeles, please make it out if you are able to be there.

The windspill of the Great Mammoth hall of Spittoon has given ye a thankful cup of grand matter. Beyond the depths and heights we go to find all that lies in the minds of the little ones, for there the gems of truth are found. Oh great little ones, hearts so pure and sweet, treading softly on the ground to never disturb a soul. We, at thee ding-A-ling, treasure your comradery. Stand by our side and give us your trinkets of peace, the sacred purrr. This Tuesday, we honor our furry, feline friends, the ones we call "cats". Please come with cat stories and costumes. We will serve beer in tiny, little bowls upon request.
